If you could fire an arrow aerial
From a golden bow of magical dreams
Where would you turn to aim?
Life is such a difficult journey.
The moment you have your sights set
The target moves a million miles
Away to avoid the fatal blow.
They sidestep the catalyst.
Or maybe another terminal goodbye.
If you could fire an arrow aerial
And it got lost somewhere in outer space.
Would it matter to you if you died?
If you died really -slowly off-course
And took an aerial dive into a starburst.
If you could fire an arrow aerial
And hit a new target every day.
Would it make it better or worse?
Dreams are so transient.
Like moving objects you love in the dark
But in light of the actions of fulfilment
They completely missed their mark.
