If You Only Knew Poem by mona martinez

do you want to help?
or to see if you were right?
either way can you handle it?
because i can't and yet,
holding it in, is what i do best,
nobody can relate,
to what i go through,
if you only knew,
you too would know,
why suicide seems like a good plan,
it was the only way to get rid,
of this hell people call life,
after seeing the light,
i came and realize,
there more to life,
but, too much to carry at times,
i guess that when you take it,
one step at a time.
