If You Want Love Poem by Ravi Kopra

If You Want Love

I may not buy yachts
to sail on the seas
I may not buy you planes
to fly in the air
I may not buy you gold
gilded with emeralds

I wish I could

(I am a poor man
I only have a Cessna
ten thousand heads of cattle
twenty oil fields in my fifty
thousand acres ranch in Dallas, Texas)

But if you want love
I promise you this:

I will fetch the moon
and give you.
