Ignition Poem by Irina Doichinova

Ignition

Rating: 5.0

So night follows day,
Days are drenched in gray
Nights embraced in mist
And warmth emitting lights.

They trickle before your eyes
Dreary days and misty nights.
Sinking in the monotonous grind
Your spirit reluctantly subsides.

Ignite, Ignite in me
The flame of fantasy.
Let it not bring devastation,
Only a surge of inspiration.

Inspiration -
Inner movement
Soaring high.

Dreary days and misty nights,
Leave me space to hide
And get my ignition,
On the tips of my fingers
In the blood of my feet.
