Illusion Poem by Palitha Ranatunge

Illusion

Dreadful forest
The death screams at
Every corner at dark edges
Of tree line, within the boggy
Water pools, fools only
Wander within and within yonder before my blind eyes I hear you calling me with your lonely voice full of love and hope whispering that fight the destiny takes me to my destination where I be happy you unseen and unknown to me like a purple star hanging at a yellow sky you are an illusion to my reality
Water
