Illusion Of Love Poem by Jonathan Lehman

Illusion Of Love

Ever since I met him,
A world would unfold,
A world so deep it made my heart swirl.
In the shadows of his gaze, love blooms,
A passion as old as time itself.
In his gaze, my love he does consume,
In his embrace, my worries melt.
In dreams we dance,
A timeless waltz,
Lost in whispers where the night exalts.
His presence a melody, soft and serene,
In the realm of dreams, we find our escape.
Where reality blurs and fantasies drape,
In his arms, I soar through the starlit sky.
A dance of love as the night passes by,
As the dream fades into morning light,
I hold onto memories ever so bright.
Awakening to a reality so mundane,
In solitude, my heart echoes with pain.
