Exquisite like this summer's day,
You roam this place so peacefully,
Settling here and settling there,
On vibrant flowers touched by thee.

And in the fine, warm gentle breeze
The soothing hum of bees so near,
It always brightens up my day,
As your beautiful presence
Gracefully appears.

For you are one of nature's best,
Sweet butterfly of splendid hue,
This garden place you love to rest,
On pretty flowers touched by dew.

Oh butterfly your colours shine,
As sun glows on your gentle wings,
Oh butterfly you warm my heart,
Just one of nature's special things.
