Immigration Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Immigration

Immigration

I

Lost my citizen
In this land of free
She wandered off...lost
Her children...crying

II

Searching for my soul
Nothing's not too late

III

I hear her soul's cries
Rehearsed now in children

IV

My heart is crying
For death they're trying

V

Stomach's now growling
For food they're missing

VI

Starvation
Of their hearts
And lost souls

VII

Flaming all that's lost
In God-forsaken world

VIII

New Eden coming
In Devil's disguise

Moral collapse everywhere; as long as people serve themselves as human beings, no one will rescue them.

The Pope is trying to come to the rescue; at least he has the the courage and fortitude to stand up to such a powerful bully!

Its disturbing to me to think, there are children being locked in detention centers which are basically prisons. The scariest part is the protest is not large enough.

Prisons of the body, mind and soul! And you are so very correct, Kevin in stating that the protests aren't large enough! Everybody so scared of Trump!

Great poem and the presentation is magnificent. Every reader can see the plight of the plight of the mother and children.

A brilliant depiction of the deplorable condition of refugees and those having problems on immigration. So deeply poignant and touching. My heart goes to those innocent children.
