Immortality In A Word

His power almost shot,
besides theology,
immortality came to mind,
and the connect
between his name and 'battology'.

He humbly revealed nothing;
instead, boringly repeating himself
more and more,
until a poet saw the connect,
and unveiled 'abbottology'.
