In And Out Of Dream(Bilingual) Poem by Perdita Young (Hanna Wang)

In And Out Of Dream(Bilingual)

Rating: 5.0

After rain the sun begins to brightly shine,
light are the clouds, as wind wafts
the sweet scent of osmanthus;
rich are the hues of Autumn, livened by birds.

Back from a tour to the enchanting East Lake,
tired from zest, hard to stay awake,
thus I let down the screens and drop
to a rippling pond of dreams with shadows bright.

In dream there's no worry for daily routine:
moments of joy to see the scene,
blurred eyes from a series of dreams,
till the setting sun shed its last warm-heart'd beams.

Gazing afar on the net to the farthest,
as the flowers dance their gentlest,
colored butterflies flit and fly,
here and there in th' garden, to confuse the eye.

Petite, Oct.5th,2008.
