In Deep Troubles Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

In Deep Troubles

Rating: 5.0

Not you alone dear
We too are seized with fear
What is happening around?
Why so much unrest is found?

Why earth has turned red?
Why people have become blood thirsty and fed?
With all this kind of violence
The whole of region is tense

Why handful of people be allowed?
Kill innocent people and leave behind many more dead
Do they think almighty may please?
Let a lesson be taught to them and force to flee

Yes they are supported with money and material
New weapons are noticed on arrival
Whole of region is ablaze
What a mad chase!

Where the appeal may lend?
When hostility does not end
Let mercenaries be driven away
Peace must return by any way

My heart too bleeds
For their activities and deeds
How can we feel comfortable?
When our brethren are in deep trouble

It is difficult to watch the state of unrest taking place all over the world right now. You have written a powerful poem of awareness for all to take heed.
