In Hiding Poem by Heather Z. Hanna

In Hiding

I have been in hiding.
Keeping closed the door of my Heart.
And through the slim tight space between wall and doors edge
A light pierced through,
Slicing down and around the outline
Melting away the door,
Until only the total brightness of light
Blindingly filled the space.
Nowhere to hide, anymore.
