I fell in love
Nobody believed
Yet it was true
People believed it is untrue
I am raised in orthodox family
With firm belief in almighty
“Whatever He does is good”
We never question as it is understood
I used to listen to hymns
There were many things to condemn
I used to sit in corner
Closed eyes and acted as good listener
“Lead decent life to find place”
The prayer included good sense
There was placed in heaven
For good and bad even
I have grown in such environment
With heavy responsibility and movement
No disrespect for elders and neighbors
We valued relation and preferred honor
With one foot crossing childhood
I am now at the gate of young hood
With same desires as other may have
I was transformed and molded to behave
It remained no secret
The gossip was allowed to let
I had no worry to know more
It was disclosed therefore
I look back and enjoy
Those happy moments were for joy
So much water has flown in river there after
I am where I am supposed to be later
