In Memoriam
To discover a cadaver covered
full of unknown maggots
when the coroner knew
It was a lie that it died
of supernaturally natural causes
is making a lie a pie in the sky
Noone remembering the reason and the prison where they dismembered it and the reason
every limb was limp in limbo
begging for the satisfaction of identification
as part of a departed human being
who can no longer be a blogger
but just a cadaver uncovered
as a statistic of another death on earth.
Noone remembering which December the life ended
when that lie they call life
in which you feel cold when called
in which you see a witch as a twit
In which a stitch in time saves non
In which on a rainy day you had nothing to say
ignoring the bored coroner as if life is a collolary of death
as if your epitaph will be in sans serif
as if sans Sheriff, the system was not lawless
because noone cared for noone to be fair
not even the wife in your life
who is just there to dare you
to be free like a bird in a tree
Like a vulture waiting for your bloated gut to rupture
failing to capture the rapture of your life after you flew above the earth through the cosmos of the most common spirits killing
the dead without dread
who instead of using their head
were happiest discovering a cadaver covered in covers
And simply said
In Memoriam
