In Modern Age Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

In Modern Age

Let elders be really honored
For noble service offered
In return for no consideration
That is bond by age old relation

We have an age old continuation
To seek guidance for confirmation
If ever were in doubt
And search was to turn in failure and talked about

In modern age, the seniors can play role
Lead the juniors and give call
Show them about real quest
And extract what can be the best

Now scene has been changed
Old values have been forgotten with passage
The seniors resort to ragging
The juniors fear and are lagging

Let learn from the past
About role being played by master
He was supposed to hold the full knowledge
Take us to the shore of safety and manage
