When darkness envelopes me,
And I'm lying there,
I shall not fear,
The long lonely night.
When tears fall upon,
This pillow I hold,
I'll drift into a sleep,
Where I'll hold you tight.
For there in my dreams,
We can walk once again,
No longer alone,
I'll look forward to then,
Neath the moon and the stars,
There's a place we can share,
In my precious dreams,
I know you are there.
