In Nature's Way Poem by Ima Ryma

In Nature's Way

The tallest mountain in the world
Makes motion as the earth does quake.
Masses of snow and ice are hurled
Downward as gravity does take.
Forces of nature at its best,
Or at its worst depending on
The point of view that is expressed,
Or silent since the voice is gone.
The mountain has no memory
Of why or how is nature's way.
For those who on the mountain be -
Humans know the deadliest day.

It is a human tragedy,
But that's the way of nature be.
