Nebraska the place I call home
Where I find myself lost
Wandering in the dark shadows of the forest
That overlook me as I walk all alone
Part of me wants to be found
For I miss my family
The other half is thinking no
I never want to be found
For I like it here alone
Where I don't have to worry
When I am to be found who will care
I keep wandering
Soon I hear voices
Sneaking nearer and nearer
I'm found
They don't stop they keep walking
I try and talk to them
But they don't stop
It's like i'm invisible
I'd follow them but they have vanished
I wander searching for them
But they are nowhere in sight
I start running, still nothing
I start to fall into felo-de-se(suicide)
I notice a house
I run even faster
When I finally get there I see its abandoned
I swiftly find the kitchen
I rummage through the cupboards
Find a glass and watch as it fills with muddy water
I peek around
There is a clock that reads 5: 38 pm
I fall asleep on a soft warm couch
When i wake it is 7: 16 pm
I draw a bath for myself
When the tub fills I undress
I climb in and start soaking
I find myself pulling on the blades of a razor
The blades find my wet smooth arms
Soon screams above the laughter approach
As blood runs wild
I look up and watch as the lights fade
Goodbye….
Gruesome, but I'm sure that is the effect you wanted. Welcome to Poem Hunter!

A sad narrative piece of poetry nicely penned from the heart. Thanks for sharing Shailyn.
