In Self-Sacrificing Work For The Needy

Monastic silence and solitude
are not necessary prerequisites
for a divine experience.

There are many who serve God
with great purity of soul
and perfect self-sacrifice
in the active life.

They are able to live in
God's presence
by devoting themselves
to Him in self-sacrificing
work for the needy and the poor.

We do not need to live like a Monk in order to have divine experiences. We can serve God with a very pure soul through practising self-sacrifice in our lives and by working for and with the poor and needy in His name. Very inspiring write, beautifully penned and expressed. Thank you for sharing, Tonyyyyy...
