In The Dark Existence Poem by Gert Strydom

In The Dark Existence

In my thoughts your lovely face remains.
I am away as you have limited me
and still my love for you remains strong.
On my many questions I get no kind of insight
and in my dark existence no kind of light,
where sincerely you are still working for God
and I can find no change there.
I do not know at what you are now aiming,
as you do constantly turn your back on me,
while in vain I do fight against this,
where I am searching for a way back,
It's as if the borders that you set are remaining.
I am looking for something to bridge the separation
and I wonder if you do still love me?
