In the darkness there exists
the objects only light
can indicate that you have missed
because they're out of sight,
and in obscurity are hidden
as if they've never been,
unheard, unspoken and unwritten
because they can't be seen.

Go seek what darkness hides and find
the matter that is dark,
and marvels waiting for the mind
and spirit for the spark
that can illuminate the world
with brilliance from the matter
to which thought thunderbolts are hurled
and cause its light to scatter.
