In The Sunny Blue Sky Poem by Francis Duggan

In The Sunny Blue Sky

Rating: 5.0

In the sunny blue sky just a few patches of gray
For late August in late Winter it is such a beautiful day
The coastal countryside looking so green after the recent rain
With such splendid weather it is so hard to complain
In near perfect weather of a high of eighteen degrees
With only the slightest of a coastal breeze
The wattle trees cloaked in their bright yellow flowers
And Nature looking her best after the recent showers
Such a beautiful sight the wild brown honeybees
Collecting nectar from the flowering bushes and trees
Just over a week from the first of the calendar Spring
The wild-birds of Nature chirp, whistle and sing
Earthly Utopia it cannot be too far away
From this beautiful place on a bright Winter's day.
