In The Walled City Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

In The Walled City

Love!
In the walled city;
With the Waters of love,
Deep down.

The first fleece!
To be fir for consumption;
Taking refuge in the walled city.

Muse!
With words to my fellow mankind;
To live within the vineyard of love and,
To share with your neighbours.

Life!
With love to my fellow workers;
With wild and fine grapes,
Having the choicest vine always.

Joy!
With care to my neighbours around;
Living and enjoying the light of peace,
Without the weapons of war.
