I can hear the sound of yesterday
Like a whispering in my ear
So soft, with a warming breath
Her lips pressed, gently
And for this moment she is near

A smile breaks for the wonder that brings me home
I see a vision of her glory
Her beauty, as I remember
An apparition of my love
A refection of what was before the sun set into the night
My precious Sweet, so tender

Here, for a moment
A passionate feeling returns me to my youth
How joyful, this fleeting moment
How could time, let it be forgotten-
When she, from forever, will not

As our souls entwine into a romance
We dance our first dance above the water's shore
Perhaps my love has brought me in a dream
Or silence has brought me to an open door
Where I may dream
Forevermore
