Incertitude Poem by Rajesh Thankappan

Incertitude

Rating: 5.0

From here to there but from there to where
My floundering steps were in this snare caught unaware
If I could just know with certitude the path ahead
I would or would not have upon those pathways tread.

The road of life has runs though undefined destination
And we come across various known and unknown stations
Our assumptions and presumptions, alas, have their limits
For beyond a certain horizon our vision too lacks the permit.

Left with no real palpable choice we move on
Through roads that build roads that takes us to destination unknown
And it was upon such a journey that I met you, my friend
I rejoice at this incertitude which may at other times offend!

A Wonderful write on our life. We walk through unknown destination, unexpected place we reach. Unexpected people we meet. Nothing is visible to our eyes. We have to walk on path unknown as no choice is left. Meaningful write presented very well in this poem. Loved reading it.

We all wonder to which destination ultimately we are heading to! We have sign posts and some vague sense of direction. But beyond a certain point, we are unable to see! This leaves one confused! It is not a singular experience.... It is felt by one and all! Let us believe that beyond our ken of vision, there lies a land far more beautiful than we can ever imagine! A great write! Top marks!

The workings of destiny well captured. This poem provides great food for thought. The poet at the end loves the incertitude of life. That is meaningful surrender. The poem brought to my mind the famous serenity prayer. Very well-written, Rajesh-ji.

The road of life has runs though undefined destination And we come across various known and unknown stations...........Really the road of life is incertitude. Nicely envisioned and presented. Beautiful and meaningful poem indeed. Many thanks for sharing. ...... 10
