Inconsequential Minds Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Inconsequential Minds

Rating: 5.0

Self-importance carries with it a smug countenance,
an aura of repugnance.
Toting around a lap top, signifying an illustrious
persona, yet insecurity and doubts flourish in
their minds.
Stepping through myriads of inadequacies, lifting
selves above everyone else - but only in their
small, inconsequential minds.

Very present unfortunately in our times. Gone are the days of humble excellence, alas! Masterfully worded. Thanks, .dear poet. You do not need a laptop to perceive the Truth.
