Our Indians so full of enthusiasm
our Indians so full of patriotism
our Indians so full of dedication
they will rush to rejoice and celebrate
the Independence day
with so much of fervor and exultation
with so much of delight and jubilation
as every Indian heart will thump with joy
as every Indian will feel the pulse of freedom.

Also in every town and city
our national flag will fly atop
the roofs of homes and houses,
atop schools, colleges and govt. offices
as celebrations will reverberate
in memory of that day
which endowed us with freedom
so everlasting and valuable!

Yes, the Independence Day,
is so enthralling and so pristine
that year after year at the Red Fort,
the same tricolor flag keeps flying high
reminding and assuring India and Indians
that Independence day is the day
we won our breath of freedom
which will last in our respiration forever.
