Infatuation has always been,
A passing fancy like a dream!
A short-lived display of captivating attraction,
Is only a transient, momentary show of affection!
Though people have gone head -over-heels,
It actually depends on how one truly feels!
It is the degree and depth of feeling,
And steadfastness of one's yearnings,
Which makes all the difference and meaning,
Between love and infatuated feeling!
True love surpasses all barriers of transience,
And transforms into an attacment of permanence!
The apparent difference between these two,
Have confused generations, like me and you!
Though between infatuation and love we have a
preferance;
But to distinguish between them, makes
all the difference!
