Inn Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Inn

The bell rang,
The man woke up
And began to walk,
Whole day he walked,
At night he reached the great land,
There was none,
Soon he saw an inn nearby,
Light was coming from its inner realm,
He went towards the inn and knocked its door,
Someone opened the door
And he went inside,
Being tired and exhausted,
He took rest in a cosy bed and soon fell deep asleep,
At midnight someone whispered to his ears,
"You have arrived in the right place,
Don't worry,
You are an enlightened soul now."

At last after years of wandering, he has come to the Abode of light and he is now an enlightened soul! Light will be found only by the person who searches for it!
