Inner Storms Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Inner Storms

Crashing with tumultuous waves of inner storms,
riding out blustery winds, tossing me about.

Holding on to nothing, because there is nothing
to hold on to anymore.

Bobbing alone in the ocean, wondering if I'll
be eaten by the sharks of emotion or will I end
up eventually, safely, on shore after the inner
tempest has died down.
