Bright eyes
Shining with interest
Looking around in awe
Too innocent to be broken spirited
Exploring their world with smiles and laughs in tow
And these young minds
Will too soon be corrupted
Their souls leeched away
The light draining from their eyes
Until they are a shadow of their joy
A husk in a society
That appears to condemn happiness
And individuality
This world tears you down
And we could all stand
To take inspiration
From the bright eyed children
Who don't know any better
