yet he never did
that crime
after a long string of appeals,
he is free,

So many years
behind the bars
the shame
the loneliness
the scars,

Many years later
they found the gun
proving he was
not the one,
Innocent man,

After a long string of appeals,
he is free,
his body is out of prison,
but his mind will never be
