Insanist Poem by Dakota Ellerton

Insanist

A clouded thought consumes my mind
you are like the smoke surrounding me
you are everywhere
you sufficate me
leading me to believe life is good
an illusion, an inspiration
as a writer I crave you
your chaos, your lies
I feed from the sorrow you've birthed
the pain you inflict on me
scars my flesh
dismantles my mind
sanity does not exhist here
I do not exhist
my drive to live has parished
each day, everyday I fantisize how the misery should end
I drown in the madness
still I feed the fire
I would rather be insane, then sane
on the brink of my world
I am lonely
one tear left to shed for you
It's always just one more

Inspired by someone whose choices have had the biggest impact on my life, and my heart. Never again will I be the same, lost in my own madness I so easily spew venom into words which I share with you.
