Insanity Poem by Bireswar Halder

Insanity

You have left calling me a poor insane,
With an immense grief and mental pain.
I have sacrificed my all to see you smile,
And to walk in life together miles after mile.

Yes, I am insane like others in this big asylum,
If you observe, you will find variable hums.
Somebody is made for running after money,
Someone finds fame sweeter than honey.

Some are crazy for sucking blood of others,
And they make fun creating lots of massacres.
People feel happy cheating and bluffing man,
Are they not mad the way by which they earn?

Insanity makes leaders to grasp their chairs,
And to make them their assets like the heirs.
While some have lost their lives for their nation.
Others have betrayed for their own satisfaction.

Some people are crazy to the worldly luxuries,
Others run towards God facing untold miseries.
You will find someone feels proud with poverty
And never bow down to lose their honesty.

Dear, love and affection have made me vagrant,
Where should I go alone being so rampant?
Your love can elixir me for years together,
Come back and save me as true and real lover.
