A she wolf is waiting for the return of her dearest
who has gone for food with his pack.
But detached somehow in the very deep forest
and the friends also lost his track.
Failing to find they return their home,
while woods are being covered with dusk.
Thinking she is-He has nowhere to roam,
comeback seems impossible task.
But he tries very hard to return at his best
while the stars appearing slowly above,
but moonless as the night makes her more unrest
she desperately howls for her love
So its full dark, he can barely see
but can listen to the voice of his mate.
As the breeze passing striking every tree
he can even smell and not afraid of his fate.
So he also cries out, with the fullest noise,
which reaches the same as of the start
and love Coalesces by only the smell and voice
even though the comely bodies are apart.
A well articulated story nicely penned with conviction. I like the rhyme scheme of the poem. Thanks for sharing Debnath.
It is a lovely poem, Anish. My only criticism is that the English is a little rough in spots. I know how hard it is to translate, so keep polishing your English and keep writing.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
Your last line stayed in my mind long after I had read this poem, this write up will be even better with a polishing; nevertheless it is still a beautiful poem. thanks
