Insomnia Sucks Poem by Terence George Craddock

Insomnia Sucks

Rating: 5.0

it's after three thirty
in the morning...
it's a beautiful thing
when your so tired...

your going
to fall asleep...
almost
immediately...

but this is
chronic insomnia...
awake half the night

more already mind churning speedy
still another hour or more awake...
finally waking in morning slow seedy

Written with simplicity purity clarity, nothing else, nothing else was needed; Hemmingway would have understood.
