Inspired Blaze Poem by Randy McClave

Inspired Blaze

I stare into the fire
I want to inspire,
The soul I want to burn
Directions I want to turn.
I want to be engulfed in that flame
I want everybody to know my name,
Then when insight has been learnt
From me they will have been burnt.
I want to start with a spark
Light up their dark,
And then when the fire roars
I want inspiration coming from the pores.
I want to feel that blaze
Upon the fire I will always gaze,
The coals I will continually stoke
As I watch the embers in the smoke.
I want to always feel the heat
When with inspired people I meet,
And then when I die
Upon that fire I want no one to cry.
I don't want that fire ever quenched
With doubts or death I do not want it drenched,
Then when my body is on the pyre
I still want to inspire.
