Internal Silence - Poem by Bryannaa Alvarez
I dedicate this to all the individuals who struggled through the illness of depression.
She sheds her tears and glares at the soul presented.
She is numb, sunk into a shade of everlasting isolation.
The thief of bliss -
haunted by her thoughts as they continuously rape;
stripped of innocence
Tattooed with intolerable misery.
Bewildered by the depth of despair.
Oh, the paradox of sanity.
Distraught by herself,
as she prays for her end.
