Iraq War Syllogism - 43

43

When the British pulled out of Basra
Had a grand handing over ceremony
Did they also hand over age old religious grievances?
A car bomb kills 74 people

When the British pulled out of Basra
There were still plenty of soldiers around
Did they also handover the brutal conqueror mindset?
Human rights abuses, mistreatment of detainees in Basra jails

It's like someone kicked you out of your house and then gave it back later in a damaged state It's like someone forcibly taught you to handle what was already yours
Made you a slave in your own land, leaned on you like a guardian leans on his foster children
