Iraq War Syllogism - 7

7

Someone break the news to the government spokesman
He said that Iraqi forces were on the verge of a great victory as the Americans took over the airport

He became a comedic sensation
A clown who epitomized how removed the dictator he worked for was from reality
He gave the world something to laugh at
The ridiculous covers up the even more ridiculous

Someone break the news to the government spokesman
It's the suicide of language when used to spit hyperbole at enemies instead of being able to match them with actual weapons

Then this confirms the views of those who consider themselves civilized
That you and yours are not
Makes it easier to discount your humanity
Makes it easier to tolerate body counts and mass killings not captured on film
