Is It Fact Or Fiction Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Is It Fact Or Fiction

See them in the streets inebriated and stoned.
In attempts to live a life that isn't one of their own.

Is it fact or fiction,
That you're now prepared to listen.
And for you this is a mission missed,
You alone condoned!

See them in the streets inebriated and stoned.
In attempts to live a life that isn't one of their own.

Is it fact or fiction,
Someone else has also mentioned...
That it takes a comprehension,
If one wishes to succeed.

Living in nonfiction disbeliving in the facts.
Is a trap!
Know that.

If you're preconditioned to accept what isn't fact...
You're criticizing just to hide,
Denial.
And easy to deceive.

Is it fact or fiction,
Someone else has also mentioned...
That it takes a comprehension,
If one wishes to succeed.

Is it fact or fiction,
That you're now prepared to listen.
And for you this is a mission missed,
You alone condoned!
Alone on your own.

See them in the streets inebriated and stoned.
Is it fact or fiction,
That you're now prepared to listen.
And for you this is a mission missed,
You alone condoned!

See them in the streets inebriated and stoned.
Is it fact or fiction,
This is what they've condoned.
In attempts to live a life that isn't one of their own.

Is it fact or fiction,
This is what they've condoned.
Is it fact or fiction,
This is what they've condoned.
In attempts to live a life that isn't one of their own.
See them in the streets inebriated and stoned.
Is it fact or fiction,
This is what they've condoned.
Is it fact or fiction,
This is what they've condoned.
