The shadow of doubt is getting longer as the sun sets
Our love becoming a total eclipse
The memory of you etched on my mind fading fast,
Becoming a disjointed caricature of our past

The taste of your kiss is becoming rancid, fermenting in the yeast of your absence
My loneliness aching my heart like an abscess.
Our love is finally taking its last breath
Dying because you took a break.

The curtain is closing,
The window to our loving.
Is this what you want?
Is this what you really want?
