Israel A Sacrificial Lamb Poem by Terence George Craddock

Israel A Sacrificial Lamb

Israel is a jewel
the coveted prize
Israel born in struggle

worship sacrifice
of her beloved people
precious intelligent souls

surrounded by a sea of troubles

strangely without Israel
the world will wither
because for a time Israel

will remain a sacrificial lamb

for the sins of nations
for an entire world
but the miracle Israel

her persecuted people
will in judgement time
receive their blessings

receive eternal peace
this sacred knowledge
is written in the souls

of prophets

the hearts
of believers
loving life

and even

people still lost
in the dark chains
of hate intolerance bigotry

Shalom to the fallen world
may we rise to love beauty in all life
Shalom Shalom Shalom
