It Behooves The Doer To Be Careful Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

It Behooves The Doer To Be Careful

When you set out to do,
Something awful to someone...
Make sure they are not,
A good friend of God's.

A few will have the many believe,
God loves us equally.
Like I've heard some parents lie,
About the status their children have...
With them.

When you set out to do,
Something awful to someone...
Make sure they are not,
A good friend of God's.

God 'may' be All Loving, All Knowing...
And All 'This' and 'That'.
But when it comes to picking on 'His' chosen ones...
It behooves the doer to be careful.
