Eleven years ago
Disaster struck our nation
How unfortunate it was
For the world to witness an ugly situation
Many lives were lost on this day
There was a dark cloud hovering in the sky
Things changed for the worse
Right before our very eyes
This was the very day
In which thousands lost their lives
Our nation was under attack
As many people sadly said goodbye
A day we will never forget
Some people will still shed tears
This unexpected event
Will linger in our minds for years
