It Is Over
I give up...
No more shall I desire
The company of companionship
No more shall I pine for the lost ones
Nor the those hoped for
Dreamed of
Prayed for
From today shall I ponder
Gods insistence I be in love with him only
No other shall get between us
For he is the everlasting
Relationship
Not the weather driven
Emotions and distractions
That get portrayed as personality
And beauty
That as a man on the earth
To succumb to the natural vices
That others enjoy easily
I do not
I am done.
There is so much honesty in this write, that is what makes it so powerful... you are lucky that you have your beliefs as a comfort, paganism can leave me feeling pretty dratted sometimes (no idea where on earth that word came from) i dont think ive ever used it before....thanks karen

So well put your feelings about love, that more often than not, can go so wrong, but i think once we have love in our heart, its as natural as night follows day, we will fall in love again and again. There is such raw honesty in this poem, that i can relate to from my own experience in my own life, you have put it into words so beautifully!
