It Never Rains But It Pours

Never rains but it pours

The rain keeps on falling; the rivers keep on rising,
when you think of what we've done, well!
It's really not surprising.
We've sent things into space, we've nudged an asteroid.
We've filled the world with plastic; yet
were still not satisfied.!
We've dammed to many rivers, dug far to many mines,
ravished Mother Nature - Ignored her warning signs.
Maybe half of us are worried, half;
Just don't careless, their more than happy to keep adding to the mess.
We've all got a footprint that we leave upon the Earth,
lets each try to make it smaller, let's try for all we're worth!
No matter your belief, religion, occupation?
Let's nurture Mother Nature for a future generation.
