It's Getting More And More Like 1984 These Days!
You seem to want me to agree with you.
You seem to want me to toe the party line.
But I'm so sorry to disappoint you.
Perhaps you consider it a thought crime,
But I don't provide preprogrammed responses.
Due to the fact that I'm not a machine.
If you want to discuss the matter in more depth
That's fine by me, as I'm still free to dream!
Great poem Dominic and Big Brother and all its crass cronies can pucker up and kiss my a r s e! With its algorithms that follow people around on line forever snooping and collecting data and the CCTV cameras choking a so called free society. Orwellian is an understatement! Thanks for writing and telling how it is and five stars for all to clearly view. Take care and hang in there.

Thanks Khairul...no problem! 1984 is a dystopian novel by the renowned English novelist George Orwell. In the novel, Orwell envisages a future where human beings are forced to live in a totalitarian state. The often used term ' Big Brother' orginates from this rather bleak work of fiction.
