It's Not Fair

Rating: 3.0

It's not fair when someone you have to love hates everything about you
They try and hide it
But you know what they are thinking
You try everything just to make them proud of you
But evert thing you try never works
It always just makes it 10 times worse
But you can't tell anyone
Becasue you try and believe it's not true
You have to hide any and everything that makes you seem unhappy
So you bottle it all up untill you just can't take it any more

The part about 'someone you haft to love' indicates to me a family member. Just remember one thing Jenn, I think it goes 'You can please some of the people sometimes, but you can never please everyone all the time'. I guess what im trying to say here is, if you know this person is not going to be pleased with what you do, then stop trying to please them. Please yourself from now on and eventually they might come around. This seemed more like a bottle up outburst than it did a poem but full of emotion just as well. I liked the content, and the emotions envolved here so I still give you a 10. 'Keep on inking the Pages' Poison

Nicely done. Vividly describe loss, wanting and denial. Is this about you at all? Because it's pretty descriptive, I'm not complaining lol. When people write personal poems I find them more enjoyable and I'm able to connect with them. Great job!
