It's Three - Poem by Aniruddha Adhikari

It's three and i'm thinking of you
My hours have put on kohl
They always do
When i'm wide awake
I fear the dawn's breath
The gold and its restless chirp
Stay a while, i plead the stars
Burning like lonely pyres
Stay a while, i pray
Till i dropp like winged Icarus
Into your whispering shadows

It's three and i'm thinking of you
